01

A word used across styles

Asana is not a separate timetable category that sits alongside every other type of yoga. Hatha and Vinyasa both include postures, but organise the experience differently: one may give more time to an individual shape, while the other links shapes through movement.

02

More than the appearance of a pose

In class, the experience includes how you enter and leave a posture, where you place your attention and how you breathe. You do not need to reproduce a photograph. Props and variations can help you explore a version appropriate to your body and experience.

03

Where to explore it at Akasa

Hatha is a useful introduction to essential postures and alignment. Vinyasa offers a flowing context, while Yin introduces longer, more supported holds. Each class guide explains the pace and approach so you can make an informed choice.
