A closer look.
Akasa’s sound-led class combines the stillness of Yin postures with a live sound bath. Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and a rain stick accompany longer, supported holds. It is a sensory experience centred on listening and rest, with space to notice the changing textures of sound.
What to expect
Settle into the room and find a position that feels supported.
Explore longer holds, typically three to five minutes, accompanied by live sound.
Rest and return gradually to the room as the session closes.
Is this your kind of class?
For those curious about sound as part of a reflective wellness practice. It is a different experience from a music-backed movement class.
Before you arrive
Tell the studio in advance if you are sensitive to sound or need a particular position. This is a wellness experience, not medical treatment.
